This is our current offering of classes at Progress Yoga.
All Levels Yoga Flow: A class suited for all levels that incorporates breathing techniques and “asanas” or poses in a flowing sequence. Instructors will offer modifications for beginner and advanced students. Instructors may incorporate core work and/or stretching portions. This form of yoga helps to improve strength, flexibility, balance and reduce stress. (This class is often referred to as vinyasa flow.)
Beginners Flow- Yoga Fundamentals: This class is designed for beginners and will move through a yoga flow slowly, with extra attention on form, technique and proper breathing. Students will learn the basic yoga poses, also called “asanas”, such as child’s pose, downward dog and warrior 1.

Yin: Yin Yoga is a practice where seated poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes. This extended time helps target the muscles and the connective tissues such as ligaments, fascia, bones and joints. Connective tissue health plays a major role in flexibility and mobility. Yin is a perfect compliment to flow yoga, and other forms of dynamic exercise like running or cycling.
Roll & Release: If you want to improve your mobility and flexibility while reducing stress, Roll & Release is for you. No yoga experience necessary. This unique class uses Yoga TuneUp Therapy Balls as a self-care tool to stretch and massage your muscles, tissue and fascia*.
- What is fascia? Fascia is a web of fibrous connective tissue, mostly collagen, that’s everywhere in your body. It wraps your organs, muscles, tendons, and ligaments, offering a sheath that enables body parts to move individually or as groups. Most importantly, it’s all connected.
Restorative Yoga: A class for all levels that incorporates gentle and restorative poses and breathing techniques, which students practice seated or lying on a yoga mat. Props such as bolsters, blocks, blankets and straps are used to assist with the experience. Restorative yoga helps to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress and let go of tension.
Yoga Mix: This unique class mixes three types of movement. It begins with a 30 minute flow, followed by a segment of core/abdominal work and ends with a segment of deep stretching and breathing.
