All Levels Yoga: A traditional yoga class that will emphasize alignment, breath and technique. Instructors will offer modifications for beginner to advanced students. Classes include traditional yoga asanas such as Warrior 1, Warrior 2 & Chair pose, plus more advanced balances & binds. This class promotes strength, balance, flexibility, and stress reduction.
Yin Yoga: A class where seated stretches are held for 3 to 5 minutes to promote flexibility and mobility. This extended time helps target the muscles and connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons & fascia. Students also experience meditative benefits and peace of mind.
Yoga/Pilates Fusion: This class will mix techniques from All Levels Yoga with Pilates exercises that strengthen and lengthen muscles, improve postural alignment and enhance flexibility. Movements are slow and controlled. Exercises focus on the core (trunk) muscles while also training arms and legs. Mat Pilates can be modified for any age, body, or fitness level.
Yoga Strength Blend: Blends strength training with yoga flow. Enjoy the benefits of a yoga flow plus strength moves such as squats and lunges. The music is energetic. The class is fun. Be prepared to sweat. The class concludes with muscle stretches.
All Levels Stretch: A class for every body and everybody. Stretch from head to toe with dynamic (moving) stretches and static (held) stretches. Reduce tension, improve flexibility and move stagnant energy. We recommend that students bring yoga blocks and a yoga blanket.
Yoga For Teens: An all levels yoga class for teens, ages 12 to 19. Taught by a recently retired high school teacher.
